We really enjoyed this campground especially the indoor pool and hot tub, which was built recently. It looked brand new and very clean! There weren't any lifeguards but that didn't bother us. We supervised our kids as did other parents. Our kids really liked the pirate playground too and could easily ride their bikes around the campground. The miniature golf is rather old and dinky and you pay to play, but the kids liked it anyway. Our site was in the trees and of adequate size. I believe the pull throughs were just in the open with maybe a tree by each. The pond is very pretty and a nice place to walk the dog, but we didn't have time to fish. You had to get coupons for the free wi-fi at the office which gave you an hours worth. This was adequate for us to check weather, maps, and tourist info which is about all we use internet for on vacation. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

We only stayed here one night, but we enjoyed the large pool at the park. The sites were large and wooded with a paved pad for the camper. There are only 15 sites that allow dogs which was easy to get midweek but book up quickly on weekend. There's a lovely large lake with boat rentals. We also found a dairy nearby with delicious ice cream! Nice for a couple of nights.

The campground's best feature is it's location. From the campground you can walk down the hill and hike back to the falls which are beautiful. You are also a quick drive from the beach/playground/park on Cayuga Lake. We also went to see the falls at Buttermilk State Park and Robert Treman State Park which are not very far away. However, the sites were rather tight for our 29' trailer. The park ranger was super nice and had me jump into his golf cart to see if we could find a larger one open, but we stayed with our original site as most sites were taken. We had electric but like most state parks, we had to fill our water tank since there are no water hookups. The campground is on a hill with tiers of sites connected by short steep roads which did not make for very good bike riding for the kids. My son crashed his bike trying to negotiate a turn on a steep hill, but luckily was OK. Convenient campground but we would probably look for something different next time.

We stayed here for two nights and would never go back. I was glad I had a camper bathroom because the restrooms were filthy with clogged toilets. Our site was very small though I think all the best sites go to the seasonals because there were nicer ones. The campground allows noisy four wheelers which woke us up driving by at 2am. We got to witness a brawl between some of the campers and their dogs too! There's a reason this place is so cheap. Caveat emptor!
